Becoming a C3 partner
Unique audience
myMAYDAY.com and C3 will expose you to a unique, narrow target group: IT-professionals paying for knowledge, insight, analyses and direct access to analysts. Between 15 and 150 paying users ('pro-users') visit myMAYDAY.com every day – a small number with a big potential: A narrow and focused group: Every single visitor is a prime prospect. The commercial value of this group is higher than tens of thousands of random website visitors. In addition, the site is being visited by a large number of 'drive-by's' and non-paying, registered users, who check headlines, open material and company/site information.
When the C3 opens to non-paying users (late 2010), exposure increases substantially while the quality of the visitors remain unchanged: IT-professionals with a Cloud Computing agenda.
Professional partnership
While 'light' link-based profiling is available to all (200+) vendors in the vendor/service index, only a select few are eligible for professional partnership and banner profiling on the C3 main pages:
- Services must be hosted in Norway and be oriented to the local market.
- For tool vendors, the products must have significant appeal to and potential in the domestic market.
- The company must have a clear, visible Cloud Computing profile.
The interest in and focus on Cloud Computing in the general IT-market is increasing by the month, stimulated by a steady growth in available services and understanding of the ongoing change. myMAYDAY.com has been a driving force in this process since 2008, and is also benefitting from the change by attracting new clients, customers and users.
By cooperating with serious, recognized partners in the segment, we stimulate the interest for independent, current, relevant information, and can contribute to increased acceptance, less FUD in the market.
Profiling
To selected partners, C3 profiling is available in two main variants (refer to the illustration [right] or visit the C3):
- C3/'Nettskysenteret': Visible to all C3 users and visitors:
- 6 months: NOK 30.000 (5.000/m), USD 5,000 (850/m)
- 12 months: NOK 50.000 (4.170/m), USD 8,350 (700/m).
- Option: Additional profiling on the myMAYDAY.com front page, visible to all visitors and users – 200-800 per day. Max. 4 concurrent banners, availble to C3 partners only:
- 6 months: Add NOK 20.000 (3.333/m), USD 3,400 (570/m)
- 12 months: Add NOK 36.000 (3.000/m), USD 6,000 (500/m)
- 'Gold-partner' (only one at any given time): Banner profiling in the colophon area on all pages on myMAYDAY.com, including the C3, 6 months, NOK 100.000 (16.700/m), USD 16,800 (2,800/m).
All prices ex. VAT. Banners must be static, may contain logo, slogan and link, and may change weekly. A front-page banner may be different from a C3 banner.
Technicalities
Banner size is 180x40 pixler (WxH). The presentation area is at the upper left on all C3 pages. The area is visible to all users and visitors. The order of the banners (max. 5 at any time) is random. A partner can have no more than one banner at any time.
Front page profiling is available to 4 partners at any time, and only one slot per partner. The front page profiling area is separate from the Gold Partner (colophon) profiling area.
The following banner formats are supported: JPG, GIF, PNG. GIFs must be static. The entire banner is click-active as a unit. The click-to address and the banner itself may be changed weekly – by a registered, accredited partner representative.
The Gold Partner banner size is 220x40 px or less.
Practicalities
A partner (representative) will be assigned a reserved area on the site, in which all profiling activities are self-serviced.
